L'Hotel des Invalides, also known as the Invalides, is one of the historic buildings of Paris and a former military hospital, planned by Louis XIV in 1671 as a facility for the care of wounded soldiers, and designed by Liber Bruin, The first wounded soldiers entered the hospital in 1674. The most famous architectural feature of the building is the chapel, built to house the body of Louis IX, the "Saint Louis". Napoleon Bonaparte's tomb is also located here.
For the 2024 Paris Olympics, L'Hotel des Invalides will be the venue for the archery and para-archery competitions. Its location in the heart of Paris, in an area dedicated to the games, promises a unique experience for athletes and spectators. L’Hotel des Invalides（オテル・デ・ザンヴァリッド）、通称アンヴァリッドは、パリの歴史的建造物の一つで、旧・軍病院です。1671年にルイ14世が傷病兵を看護する施設として計画し、リベラル・ブリュアンが設計の指揮をとり、1674年に最初の傷病兵たちが入りました。建築史上有名なのは附属する礼拝堂の建築で、"聖ルイ"と称えられるルイ9世の遺体安置のために建設されました。また、ナポレオン・ボナパルトの墓もここにあります。
